Treasure Hunt on Board!


A fun treasure hunt for children aged 3-9. Explore the ship with a keepsake map, discover hidden places, and earn a small Götheborg souvenir as a reward. Adult supervision is recommended.

Digital Tour on your Phone

Using your own phone, you can dive into the history of Götheborg. Learn about the original East Indiaman and its voyages to China, and about the extraordinary reconstruction that sails today.

In the app you'll find:

  • Audio guides to listen to as you walk the deck

  • Stories about the history of the ship and its many details

  • The freedom to explore in your own language and at your own pace

Arrange a group tour

The guided tour will take you through a number of decks on board and will include engaging stories of the history of the Swedish East India Company, the diving on the wreck site, the building of the ship in the 1990s, and the launch and voyage to China in 2005–2007.

Guided tours can be booked online or joined as a drop-in. Tours are organized daily.

How to get there

By bus

Bus 21 or 99 to Sörhallstorget / Eriksbergstorget.

By ferry

Take the Älvsnabben ferry from Lilla Bommen, Stenpiren or Klippan to Eriksberg ferry stop.

By car

Parking is available at Hotel 11 and in the multi-storey car park at Östra Eriksbergsgatan.
